Is Clarisonic Worth It?

I’ve gotten some great questions regarding the makeup fast, and how it effected my skincare routine, so I figured I’d sit down and share my “secret” with you all.

I bought my Clarisonic from Amazon for about $110, and I’ve been using it for about a month. It’s super easy to use, and my only tip to you is this: use it once a day, like it says on the box. It feels great, and you’ll want to use it twice a day. Resist that urge! Over cleansing will make your skin flip-out.

Do you use a Clarisonic? Have any tips or tricks? Share ’em in the comments! And as usual, if you have any questions, I am here to answer them.

(Also, I was not compensated in any way for this post, but I did use my Amazon affiliates account to link the Clarisonic, in case you feel like buying one for yourself.)

I’ve been thinking A LOT lately about getting a clarisonic. I currently use philosophy “purity made simple” and “microdermabrasion” at least once sometimes twice daily. I have also skipped my foundation for the last several days. What do you use with your clarisonic?

I bought the Olay dupe & was wondering if it’s just as good or if I should splurge & go ahead & buy the clarisonic. Does anyone have an opinion about it? Thanks in advance.

  3. I’ve been really curious about Clarisonic for a while now. If you only use it once a day, are you not washing your face twice a day anymore? Do you only use it at night?

    • I only use it once a day, and usually at night. I use a super moisturizing night creme, and the Clarisonic really helps make my skin more receptive to it, if that makes sense. It feels like my skin is actually absorbing it, rather than the creme just staying on the top layer.

  4. Oh, and just a warning based on the reviews on Amazon – if anyone has troubles with their Clarisonic, it seems Amazon is not an authorized dealer so you may have trouble returning it if you get a defective product. I’ve seen this product at Bed, Bath & Beyond – it might be better to purchase there.

It’s ABSOLUTELY worth every penny. Mine will be two years old in Sept (yes, it’s my baby) and still works great and my skin is fab. Someone had asked me if the Olay Pro X was as good as the Clarisonic this past winter, so I did this post to compare:

Completely non-biased and wasn’t compensated. Hope it helps!
